John Hall, CR’s dad, started this business in 1966, but the Culligan name has been around since 1936.

CR Hall, the current owner and president, bought the company from his father’s estate in 1991.  At that time, our only location was a small office building on Pattie Street downtown.  He had 9 employees total, and 1 route truck.  But then we started to grow and expand.  Between then and now, he has grown it into the market leader in bottled water and water conditioning solutions for households and commercial customers.

After growing so much on Pattie Street, and taking over half the block, we had no more room to grow and we were bursting at the seams, literally making offices out of closets.  In February of 2002, the Wichita Corporate Headquarters built, and moved into, this brand new, state of the art, 52,000 square foot facility.

We currently have 15 locations, Wichita, McPherson, Independence, Joplin, NW Arkansas, Lincoln, Hays, Jefferson City, Rolla, West Plains, Cleveland, Canton, Ravenna, Tri Lakes and Fremont. 

This facility in serves as a regional water bottling plant for statewide distribution of water.
We have a very large customer base in bottled water and bottled water delivery, approximately 12,000 currently, and it is the backbone of our company.
